12 dead bodies, 1 survivor, and a lot of questions.
After a night of brutal murders take place that resemble an 80’s slasher movie, two detectives have questions for the only survivor. Our latest short film After The Slasher attempts to answer the question: What happens the morning after a slasher film when the police investigate?
It was written, directed, and edited by yours truly, William Capps. The cast includes Julie Streble (Girl Number Three, Volumes of Blood: Horror Stories), Ryan Beyer (Overtime, A Wish for the Dead), and Vanessa Streble. Sean Blevins was the director of photography, and Chad Cook was the boom operator. The short was shot on a Panasonic G7 with the Panasonic F2.8 12-35mm lens. The DJI Osmo was also used for one shot. You can check out a gallery of behind the scenes images from the short film shoot that we uploaded to our Facebook page by clicking here.
After The Slasher was an official selection of the 15 Second Horror Film Challenge‘s Fright Days short film showcase, and can also be watched via the video embedded below.
